Congratulations to the Washington Junior High Dance Team for their first place in lyrical dance competition! They will be competing for a state title soon!
Beginning February 2, 2015, the cookie dough campaign begins. Washington School will be selling cookie dough tubs in order to raise funds for various school needs. Students are asked to try to sell at least one item. There will be prizes for some of the top selling students (such as food and cash prizes).
Attention students, parents and guardians:
It's COLD outside!!
Please dress appropriately: socks, shoes, pants/jeans (no shorts), layer your shirts if needed, and most importantly, WEAR A COAT!
We have many students coming to school not wearing their coats.
The Marion Laborers Local Union recently donated many coats to Washington School. Involved in this wonderful donation was the Laborers M C. This 2014 Coats for Kids Run produced many coats available for our Washington School students! We also have hats and gloves. If you are in need of one of these items for your Washington student, please do not hesitate to contact the Washington School office or principal - we are anxious to help you stay warm!
