This is a reminder to all students that we are in the two week evaluation period for the possibility of an early dismissal. So, if for two weeks if you have zero tardies, zero office referrals, zero missing work and zero F’s in all your classes, you will get to sign out of enrichment early on September 19th.
A representative from Southeast Missouri State University will be here on Tuesday, September 17th at 2:15 p.m. Any interested senior or junior can sign up to meet with the representative. Sign your name on the form in the high school office if you would like to meet with the representative.
Student Council Members: Orders and money for Student Council Tshirts must be turned in by Friday, September 20th. Also, we still need Lincoln Chili supper workers for September 20th. Please sign up with Mrs. McBride.

The annual HOSA 31 fundraiser is underway! If any HOSA member did receive a packet, see Mrs. Mummert, Liz West, Mia Lawrence or Alexis Turner to get one. Please turn in orders and money as you sell them so orders can be placed and delivered quicker. There are cash prizes for 1st thru 4th placed sellers. ALL ORDERS AND MONEY ARE DUE ON SEPTEMBER 27th.
Thanks to all HOSA members who worked the 50/50 raffle at Friday night’s game. It was another very successful raffle. We will need workers for this week’s home game as well. The sign up sheet is in Mrs. Mummert’s room.
Seniors - please start turning in your baby and senior pictures to Mrs. Will. They are due no later than October 31.
Picture retake day is Monday, September 16 in the library. Order forms are in the library.
Our annual Fall Blood Drive will be Monday, October 7th. Registration will continue during both lunches until Friday. Only those individuals who have pre-registered will be given a free T-shirt. Students who are 16 years of age will need a permission form signed by a parent and returned in order to donate blood. Those forms will be available at the registration table during both lunches. Also, all donors who are pre-registered will receive a free blood drive t-shirt. There will also be door prizes for donors and snacks. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to donate blood. A floating sub will be available and teachers will be given preferential scheduling.
Students who want to participate in Drama Team… We will start having after-school meetings each 2nd and 4th Wednesday in Mrs. Patrick’s room! We will discuss local shows, play some improv games, and work on an audition piece. The first meeting is Wednesday 9/25 and will end about 3:45pm.
All visitors will need to present a government issued id to enter the building. The id will be scanned into the Raptor system to checked for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders.
A visitor's badge will not be necessary for those who visit our schools simply to drop off an item in the office or pick up paperwork.
