Mrs. Mummert and Mrs. Harvey have teamed up to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world. By combining our science and health careers curriculum, JCHS students are getting an immersive look at the circulatory system and medical professions. So far, our students have earned their Stop the Bleed certification, toured an active ambulance, and heard firsthand experiences from local paramedics.
The hands-on learning doesn't stop there! Next week, they’ll be diving into a blood typing lab, exploring laboratory careers, and observing venipuncture. We are so proud of our students for stepping up to learn these life-saving skills!
