Our Educators Rising officers had an amazing time at the State Conference in Bloomington, IL!
We had the opportunity to lead our own workshop, just like we did at Educators Rising Experience Day, where we empowered other clubs to be the best they can be.
A big part of our workshop focused on creating action plans, where each group worked together to set specific goals for their club and come up with new ideas for improvement. They discussed ways to increase membership, plan engaging activities, strengthen leadership, and make a bigger impact in their schools and communities. It was so cool seeing everyone collaborate and leave with a clear plan to better their club.
We also had so much fun engaging everyone with games like “Would You Rather” and “64 Squares”, making the workshop both interactive and meaningful.
Our president, Sophie Walker, did an incredible job presenting about our club’s journey and how we’ve gotten to where we are today, one of the first Educators Rising clubs in Illinois. Overall, it was such a great experience connecting with other clubs from all across Illinois!
