WMS Tribe Time
Tribe Time is Back at WMS!
Tribe Time is a system we implemented a few years ago to help motivate students to turn in work on time, complete their assignments, keep their grades up, and exhibit good behavior. Every 4th Friday of the month students are given the opportunity to participate in various fun activities, including dodgeball, art, gaming, movies, and outside activities, just to name a few. In the past, this has been a great motivator for our students, who really seem to enjoy our Tribe Time. Our ultimate goal is for all students to enjoy Tribe Time, but for those students who might not meet the requirements, they are pulled into classrooms to assist them in the areas where they might be struggling academically; this may be getting caught up on homework, or reteaching a lesson they have not fully mastered. We have a special schedule on Fridays for Tribe Time, so all students will still attend each of their classes and have the last 30 minutes of the day for fun or extra help.
