Character word, courage, with a colorful background

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we are focusing on a word that fuels growth: Courage.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the decision that something else is more important. It means facing your fears head-on and doing the work to overcome them, even when your heart is racing.

Finishing Strong 🏁

The end of the school year can be overwhelming. Between final projects, exams, and the bittersweet feelings of saying goodbye, it takes real courage to stay focused and give your best effort until the very last bell rings. Don't back down now—you’re almost at the finish line!

A Big Leap for our 8th Graders 🎓

To our 8th-grade class: moving on to high school is one of the biggest "fear-facing" moments you’ve encountered so far. It’s natural to feel nervous about a bigger building, new faces, and harder classes.

Remember: You are ready. * Have the courage to be yourself.

  • Have the courage to try new things.

  • Have the courage to ask for help when you need it.

Challenge for the month: What is one thing you’ve been afraid to try? Take one small step toward it this week. Let’s finish this year with our heads held high!
