Character Word of the Month: Cooperation
This month, our school community is focusing on Cooperation—working together for the same goal. When students learn to combine their strengths, listen to others, and support their peers, everyone succeeds!
What Cooperation Looks Like in Action
Sharing & Helping: Working together on classroom projects and sharing materials.
Active Listening: Hearing out teammates' ideas and problem-solving as a group.
Encouraging Others: Cheering on classmates and stepping in to help when someone is struggling.
Team Effort: Doing our part at school, at home, and in the community to achieve a shared objective.
How to Practice at Home You can help reinforce cooperation at home by involving your child in team activities! Try working together on a household project, playing cooperative board games, or discussing how family members help each other reach a shared goal.
Let’s work together this month to make our school community stronger than ever!
