It's the last day of Underground Spirit Week at Jefferson Elementary School.
We showed you how creative staff and teachers got with "Anything But A Cup" Day on Monday.

All schools have early dismissal today, Friday March 7th, with our elementary schools and middle school letting out at 1:50 p.m. High School students will be dismissed at 2 p.m.
Spring Break is March 10th -14th. 😎😎
We'll return on St. Patrick's Day with a full day of classes, so be sure to wear your green! 🍀

Right now, JCHS students in the Educators Rising Illinois program are in Bloomington for the 5th annual State Conference.
The event includes skills-attainment competitions, an education fair with universities and student support services from across the state, professional
development for students and teachers, a tour of the Illinois State University campus, and more.
It's a great opportunity to empower the next generation of educators!

Take a look at these future paleontologists at Jefferson Elementary school.
Mrs. Smith's 1st grade class is learning about dinosaurs, fossils, rocks, gemstones and minerals.
Students are learning through hands-on activities like putting together large puzzles and solving a top-secret rocks and minerals mystery kit.





High School Art Club is sharing photos of their recent lesson at Washington Middle School focusing on endangered and extinct animals. During the visit, WMS students were able to make colorful collages out of construction paper.
Every year, Art Club provides lessons to the middle school and both elementary schools in preparation for the district-wide art show.
This year's theme for the art show is "Welcome to the Jungle" on April 11th from 4 to 6 p.m.

JCHS Med Lab students stopped by Lincoln Elementary school yesterday teaching 3rd and 4th kids the life-saving technique of Hands-Only CPR.
The high schoolers did an incredible job breaking down the process into easy-to-follow steps, ensuring that everyone understood the importance of staying calm and acting quickly in an emergency. 🚑
