Lincoln School will be closed on Friday, January 17 due to a water service interruption. The Corinth and Galatia Water Districts will be repairing a water line near the school, and as a result, there will be no water supply at Lincoln School on that day.
All other schools within the Johnston City School District will remain open as scheduled.

The Amazon Return Day Giveaway, sponsored by 4 Good Community, was a huge success. We are thankful that we were able to provide this opportunity to our Kindergarten - 8th Grade students.
Due to the amount of items we received we are able to open the event up to community members today from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Community members are asked to park in the “horseshoe” by the Scout Cabin and enter the east side gym doors at 3:30 p.m.
The Johnston City High School’s Educators Rising Club is trying to raise awareness of their club and the activities they host for elementary students. She is the new Student Advocate at JCHS. She has worked at Jefferson Elementary for the past 4 years and now works for the ROE 21 in the Alternative Learning Opportunity Program. She is excited to begin this new journey to help every student attain their goals!

Due to the home football game being postponed until 10:00 a.m., the Hall of Fame Banquet will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 28th, at 1:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Class of 2024 Hall of Fame inductees, as well as any previous inductees, will be recognized prior to the football game on Saturday, September 28th. Anyone being recognized needs to meet at 9:30 at the northeast corner of the track.
Tonight's football game (9/27) vs. Flora has been postponed, due to Flora being unable to travel. The game will be played tomorrow, Saturday, September 28th, at 10:00 a.m.
Due to the rain forecast for Friday, September 27th, we are moving the JCHS Homecoming parade to Thursday, September 26th at 4:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope everyone can still participate. We’re determined to keep our parade tradition alive despite the weather!
