School bus drivers Patricia Mueller and Tonnie Nordmeyer have nearly 50 years of combined service to the Johnston City School District. They get up dark and early each school week because they love the families on their route and making sure students get to school safely. We APPRECIATE Patricia and Tonnie, and all of bus drivers! Today kicks off National FFA week. The group's vision is "Growing the next generation of leaders who will change the world." Our FFA members continually give their time to educating others about agriculture, we can't wait to see what they'll do in the future!

“I love my kids and their families. I’m driving kids whose parents I drove when they were kids.” Love the Bus month continues, and today we recognize Patricia Mueller. Some of her fondest memories are driving former football coach Mike Rude and his players to games. We appreciate Patricia and all of our bus drivers for getting our students to and from school safely. For that we say, THANK YOU!

Our Boys Basketball teams are non-stop after home games last night. Today, the Freshmen Boys Basketball team is traveling to compete against Zeigler-Royalton with tip-off at 1 p.m. JV and Varsity are staying home tonight at 6 p.m. up against the Hardin County Cougars.
