*The district is closely monitoring an evolving winter weather system that is expected to arrive this weekend. In the event an e-learning day(s) is utilized, your child's teacher will be in contact with you via email or ClassDojo.
*Jefferson will be open today until 5:00 pm for any student who does not have access to email or ClassDojo to pick up an e-learning packet. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
*Packets are available on the Southwest side of the school. This is our current student entrance and exit. We have placed the packets in storage tubs that are sitting outside the glass doors. We have a tub labeled for each grade level.
The Amazon Return Day Giveaway, sponsored by 4 Good Community, was a huge success. We are thankful that we were able to provide this opportunity to our Kindergarten - 8th Grade students.
Due to the amount of items we received we are able to open the event up to community members today from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Community members are asked to park in the “horseshoe” by the Scout Cabin and enter the east side gym doors at 3:30 p.m.
December Parent Weekly Calendar
On Tuesday, December 17, all Kindergarten through 8th grade students will participate in a special event called Amazon Return Day Giveaway, sponsored by 4 Good Community. This local organization is dedicated to helping others, and they have generously provided enough Amazon return items for each of our K-8 students to take home two items at no cost.
During this event, students will have the opportunity to select one item for themselves and one item to give to someone else. The items, which vary in size and value, are Amazon return products. The event will be held in the Washington Middle School gym.
Here are the key details:
All K-8 students will participate in this special event.
Students must be able to carry their chosen items out of the gym.
Students in grades K-4 will be bused to the middle school to shop.
Each student will receive one item for themselves and one additional item to give to someone else, all at no cost, thanks to the generosity of 4 Good Community.
We are thrilled to offer this unique experience to our students and are deeply grateful to 4 Good Community for their support.

Tonight's football game (9/27) vs. Flora has been postponed, due to Flora being unable to travel. The game will be played tomorrow, Saturday, September 28th, at 10:00 a.m.
