The school with the most donations will earn a special treat from our Full-Service Community Schools team.

This week, the Regional Office of Education #21 and the Area VI McKinney-Vento Homeless Education program are shining a light on the issue by launching the Paint the Town Purple initiative.

That means Lincoln Elementary ranks among the top 10% of the highest-performing elementary schools in the entire state!
This marks back-to-back years of excellence — 2024 and 2025 — and we couldn’t be prouder of our students, staff, and families for their hard work and dedication to learning.

Just a friendly reminder — there are a few schedule changes this week. Latch Key will not be available tomorrow, Thursday, October 30. Please make alternate arrangements for your child after school.
Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy your Halloween weekend!

Lincoln Elementary is participating in Red Ribbon Week. This is a nationwide campaign to raise awareness and promote the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use, as well as violence.
On Tuesday, students and staff wore camo, so bad choices can't find them!

Our 3rd and 4th-grade students who exhibited positive behavior recently enjoyed two large Inflatable Fun obstacle courses, and students were able to have a snack and drink.
It was a beautiful day for being outdoors, and our students had a great time. Principal Smiley is so proud of their behavior during the first nine weeks of the school year.
Keep up the great work, Lincoln students!

This photo brings back so many great memories of teamwork, school pride, and the unstoppable spirit of our Lady Indians.
Do you recognize a familiar face who’s still part of the Johnston City Schools family?
#throwbackthursday
Mrs. Tanner rolled our mobile library, giving 3rd and 4th grade students a chance to check out new books and keep their love of reading growing.
There’s nothing like the excitement of discovering the next great story!

Lincoln Elementary had 126 students who missed one or less day in September, which is 81% of our students!
They were rewarded with a voucher for a complimentary burger from Moreland McDonald's, who we want to thank for supporting our school!

We're still thinking about this year's Homecoming week and all the fun we had celebrating our JC Tribe.
Our JCHS Head Football Coach, JCHS Football players, and JCHS cheerleaders stopped by for Breakfast with the Indians and spent time with our Lincoln Elementary students.
These high schoolers also greeted their former Lincoln teachers, it was a great time for everyone involved!

Remember, always stop when the stop-arm is out for school buses—it’s the law! ✋ 🛑 Flashing red lights and a stop sign ALWAYS mean it's time to keep kids safe.

Enjoy this Fall day, and we will see you back in class tomorrow!

We hope you enjoy your three-day weekend after an action-packed Homecoming week!
