Bus Driver Tonnie Nordmeyer has dedicated 20 years of service to the Johnston City School District.
"It’s just something that puts a smile on my face and love in my heart," she says.

After a home game over the weekend against Wayne City, the Lady Indians are staying home for another game tonight.

The regular wrestling season is coming to a close with the BDC Conference Meet at Trico tonight at 6 p.m.


After an away game on Monday, our Lady Indians are home tonight playing against the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats.
The game starts at 6 p.m.


CONGRATULATIONS: Our Scholar Bowl Team is the BDC Champions for the 4th year in a row!
Also, a congratulations to Chase McReynolds and Max Saavedra for earning all-conference honors. Way to go!

Last night families celebrated Senior Night for our wrestlers, and we spotted some really PROUD parents.
The Indians came out on top vs. Sparta and Red Bud. Congratulations!
Now, our wrestling team will travel to Fairfield for the BDC conference tomorrow. Good luck!!

ICYMI: The Johnston City High School Art Club stopped by Lincoln Elementary School on Friday.
They gave an art lesson on to students, who really enjoyed the visit and making a colorful project!
Each lesson fits with the theme of this year's art show, which is "Welcome To the Jungle" focusing on endangered and extinct animals.

We wrapped up this year’s Arrowhead Classic basketball tournament yesterday.

DuQuoin’s Jayden Davis, Jeremiah Jones and Johnathan Brown also took All Tournament Selections.
