This event is free entry and there will be plenty of games for the whole family to enjoy. For purchase, there will be tasty concessions like hotdogs and chips and salsa. Plus, raffle tickets for some BIG giveaways including a PS5 and $100 gift card.
This is also the last opportunity for students to make a purchase at this year's Scholastic Book Fair.

ICYMI: All schools have early dismissal today, March 28th. Our elementary schools and middle school will let out at 1:50 p.m. and our high school will dismiss at 2 p.m.

More donations are coming in for our Spring Open House tomorrow. We're so thankful for those who have helped by donating items and raffle baskets like the ones you see below.
The Spring Open House includes free entry and plenty of games for an evening of friendly competition. For purchase, there will be tasty concessions including hot dogs and chips and salsa. You can also buy tickets for several raffles including baskets full of goodies, a 50/50 drawing, a PS5 and a $100 gift card.
Not only is this a night of family fun, but it's also a fundraiser to support Lincoln Elementary and our students.

Lincoln Elementary celebrated students who went detention-free during the school year's 3rd quarter!
Our 3rd and 4th grade students had a wonderful time at Herrin Bowl on Friday from trying to get a strike to playing in the arcade and chatting over some snacks!

🏆 Lincoln Elementary is the 4th Grade Brain Games Champions. 🏆
We're so proud of our team team, who went to competition at Rend Lake College today 🧠📚 They dressed in clothing inspired by the 30s and 40s since that's the content of their testing.
Brain Games is a friendly competition that provides a structured academic atmosphere filled with creative thinking and problem solving exercises.
Student teams navigate an array of hands-on activities, questions, and challenges across the curriculum of Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and the Arts.


The Scholastic Book Fair kicks off tomorrow that's Tuesday, March 25th. Your child can purchase books during school hours through Friday, March 28th.
The book fair will have extended hours on Friday for our Spring Open House from 5 to 7 p.m. This event is a major fundraiser for our school with profits going right back to supporting our students with PBIS Incentives:

🌸 Transportation costs to get there and back
🌸 Rentals at the end of the year for field day
🌸 Special assemblies


A week from today is our Lincoln Elementary Spring Open House. We can't wait to see all of YOU at this event bringing together our families and staff for a fun night.

March is Music in our Schools month 🎵🎵 A time of year to raise awareness about the importance of music education for all children, and the educators who are in the classroom teaching students the fundamentals of music and how to build on them.
Today, we're highlighting Mr. Smith, who has a deep passion for music education and years of experience as a band director. He brings music, inspiration, and a whole lot of rhythm to Washington Middle School and Johnston City High School.

We hope everyone enjoyed Spring Break and are returning back to school refreshed and ready to learn during our 4th quarter!
