Bus Driver Tonnie Nordmeyer has dedicated 20 years of service to the Johnston City School District.
"It’s just something that puts a smile on my face and love in my heart," she says.
February is Love the Bus month. A time to recognize bus drivers who dedicate their time to
reliable, safe transportation.

They gave an art lesson on to students, who really enjoyed the visit and making a colorful project!
Each lesson fits with the theme of this year's art show, which is "Welcome To the Jungle" focusing on endangered and extinct animals.







Lincoln elementary has early dismissal today at 11:30 a.m. for parent-teacher conferences, which take place from 12:30 - 3 p.m.

Friendly reminder: Tomorrow, January 24th, Lincoln Elementary will have early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. for parent-teacher conferences.

Lincoln Elementary School is closed today in observance of Martin Luther King Junior Day.

Lincoln School will be closed on Friday, January 17 due to a water service interruption. The Corinth and Galatia Water Districts will be repairing a water line near the school, and as a result, there will be no water supply at Lincoln School on that day.
All other schools within the Johnston City School District will remain open as scheduled.

Today is National 4th Graders Day! It's a time to recognize their hard work and dedication.
Lincoln Elementary is proud to have the best students, and today they were back in class after winter weather last week.
We caught some students working together to solve math problems!

Johnston City schools will be closed and using an e-learning day tomorrow, Monday, January 6th due to inclement weather.

The Amazon Return Day Giveaway, sponsored by 4 Good Community, was a huge success. We are thankful that we were able to provide this opportunity to our Kindergarten - 8th Grade students.
Due to the amount of items we received we are able to open the event up to community members today from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Community members are asked to park in the “horseshoe” by the Scout Cabin and enter the east side gym doors at 3:30 p.m.
Pack the place this Saturday for the IHSA Quarterfinal football game! Just a reminder K-8 students must be accompanied by an adult. We encourage families to enjoy the game together, and we appreciate your support. ROLLTRIBE!
