A great turnout last night during Washington Middle School first Community School event.
The students loved the FREE table giveaways especially the animal plushies, and parents/community members loved the FREE raffle for a Walmart gift card.
Our raffle winners included Corey Lewis who took home a $100 gift card, and Brenda Lazorchak and Tasha Stroud who both received $50 gift cards.
We're so thankful for everyone who stopped by to learn more about the Full-Service Community Schools initiative. We'll be holding more events like this in the future, and can't wait to see you there.

You can enter to win at the Full-Service Community School table set up in the gym lobby starting at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced at halftime during the 8th grade Boys Basketball game, and do not have to be present.

They're at home today with a match against the Benton Rangers starting at 9 a.m. Then, the team has an afternoon match competing with Herrin's Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School.

The middle school has early dismissal today at 11:30 a.m. for parent-teacher conferences, which take place from 12:30 - 3 p.m.

The Boys Basketball team has another away game tonight at 6 p.m. This time, they're competing against Christopher Bearcats.

Our Scholar Bowl team is away today at Unity Point in Carbondale. Let's wish them some luck as they continue their season!

FFA Officers visited the middle school today to give a presentation to the 8th graders.
They talked about agriculture related classes offered at the high school and everything the JC FFA Chapter has to offer.
