Johnston City High School Graduation Update

To ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff, we are rescheduling the high school graduation ceremony for Saturday, May 17th, at 7:00 p.m.
We believe this change provides the best opportunity to celebrate our graduates without the concern of inclement weather. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the safety and experience of our school community.
Note: Graduation practice is still set for Friday, May 16th at 10 a.m.

Hmmm. Star Wars Day, it is. Celebrating, Mrs. Cheers’ kindergarten class is.
Jedi younglings, strong with the Force they are—tiny Padawans in training, yes!
Lightsabers waved, Wookiee roars heard, and Yoda ears worn with pride, hmmm.
Laughter and learning, a powerful combination it is.
Grateful, we are, to Mrs. Cheers—guide them well, she does.
📸 Mrs. Cheers shared these photos of her class having some fun in a galaxy far away!

To every teacher who's stayed late to help a student, brought learning to life, or offered a listening ear when it mattered most — THANK YOU. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
We appreciate all of our teachers at Jefferson Elementary!

We can't think of a better way to end the school week than an animal show.
